Gen III System Information

The Gen III is an attractive, state of the art, tankless outdoor misting system. It is small and lightweight and can easily be placed anywhere in your yard that is convenient to a hose bib and electrical outlet.

Each time the system is activated, Gen III precisely mixes a fresh batch from the concentrate. The smart cap on the cartridge tells Gen III the proper dose of botanical insecticide to address your mosquito problem.

With Gen III's smart cap technology, you tailor the amount of active ingredients and gain control over mosquitoes and other biting insects while using the least amount of insecticide. Gen III is smart, it is the only system on the market that can detect a leak in the nozzle circuit. If it does detect a leak, it lets you know by blinking the LED light on the outside of the housing. It also suspends future mist cycles until the leak is fixed, saving you money on wasted insecticide.

HOW IT WORKS

Systems which include a remote control may be activated on demand to mist between scheduled times if desired.

The MistAway System is made up of a reservoir, tubing and nozzles. A timer mechanism is located on the lid of the reservoir and can be set to mist based on anticipated need. The Gen III system contains a remote control as standard equipment.

The misting lines and nozzles are installed and integrated around the perimeter of your home and/or other structures. The nozzle circuit consists of our precision-engineered nozzles connected to nylon tubing installed around the perimeter of the area to be protected. The mist pattern is conical in shape and projects 10 feet from the nozzle tip. The nozzles are typically placed about 10 - 15 ft apart.

The nozzles themselves have a high engineering content. The tips are made of a high quality metal and weather well. The nozzle orifice has been designed to yield a very fine droplet size at our operating pressure. When the system is activated, a fine mist of insecticide is emitted from the nozzles.

The automatic timer is custom set with release times generally at dusk and before dawn when mosquitoes and other biting insects are most active. Since the insecticide biodegrades quickly, there will be no residue that could harm butterflies or other beneficial non target insects.
